One in eight women will be diagnosed with breast cancer in their lifetime.

A breastscreen helps to detect breast cancer in its very early stages, well before these changes can be felt or noticed by a women or her doctor.

Research has shown that early detection provides a greater chance of successful treatment and recovery.

Having a breastscreen only takes around 20 minutes of your time but it is potentially life saving.

Call 13 20 50 or book at www.breastscreen.qld.gov.au

A doctor’s referral is not required.
